Its with a mixture of sadness and happiness that we say goodbye to Brent who has been part of the JP teaching team for the past 5 years. Sad in that he is a wonderful teacher and has always brought a positive and inspirational approach to everything he puts his mind to and has a unique and generous way with people. Whether he is teaching beginners or preparing students to enter the Conservatorium of music Brents energy and enthusiasm for all levels has been a pleasure to see.
Brent leaves us to join the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra on a 6 month contract as Principal Timpanist. Brent is well known all over the country as one of our finest timpanists and has worked extensively throughout Australia and other parts of the world . He is an extremely in demand performer and we wish him all the best. If you are in Melbourne dont miss the opportunity to hear Brent with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra . Wonderful player and a wonderful person. Good luck Brent and all the best from all of us at JP.
